4/10/2023 0 Comments Oh my star korea![]() The deal breaker for me was the accident. On the plus side, however, the drama showed that everyone had their own valid reasons for doing things. I found these characters totally unnecessary for the whole plot again sending weird messages about the body image by never dissolving OSJs eating disorder. The directors never really explained how, when and why they fell in love, but kept on showing how genuine it was. I found IWS behaviour quite respectful and nice - what a diversion- but why do I need to see how he moves on? Same goes for the whole love story of him and OSJ. Also, I was confused as to why the authors would portray the ex-boyfriend so nicely? You can’t hate him. However, if she is a bit heavier but happy/ confident with it just let her be! Why did her so called best friend and everyone around her (except her mother) try to convince her she was not all right without even having her health in mind (Body Shaming!). Like what? You expect a ring, but then you’re over it just like that after 15 years? Then again, why weren’t they even engaged yet, if they were together for such a long time, way over 30 and the type that wants kids and marriage? I wish they would have shown/explained more about their previous relationship. And then she wasn’t even really heartbroken. When her boyfriend wanted to break-up, she wouldn’t even let him explain or anything. She became a lawyer but mediocre successful, her apartment was a mess and her lifestyle/body as well. In the beginning I thought Venus was pretty self-absorbed: She was full of confidence without delivering claiming she can achieve anything. When I started watching I found the characters, the messages and everything around it pretty weird and could not get into it until EP 4. I hope I can take something from it.Įven so, there were so many annoying moments about the drama. But even though they talked about their desires why did they need to held back all the time XD? Also, there were interesting insights about weight loss, hypothyroidism and HWS. From a European view it was really nice to see sexuality treated much more openly yet tasteful compared to the unrealistic abstinent 99% of other dramas. Their chemistry and sexual tension is amazing and so fun to watch. This drama is worth watching and the main leads are one of my favourite couples of all dramas. Some things in this drama are just a bit too unrealistic for my taste. like oh yeah By the way im from this super rich ass family… WEIRD!!! Like how did she expect him to bring it up during their training sessions. & she’s the one who forced him to train her when he didn’t even want to! Now she’s acting all shocked & hurt that he didn’t tell her he was from this rich ass family… just such a huge overreaction that it’s making me annoyed and confused. He literally told her at the start that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and that his family would disapprove of him being john kim, and she actually laughed at him and didn’t believe him. ![]() The way she acts so obsessive and desperate is sooooo cringey!!! I can’t stand to her scenes and just skip, & I hate it b/c Joon-Sung is one of the characters I like.Īlso I’m confused as to why Kang Joo-Eun was so mad at John Kim when she finds out hes a rich chaebol guy from that family. LOL! I really hope Jang Joon-Sung doesn’t end up with her, though it looks like they probably will. Just finally watching this series after being recommended it by so many people since it came out.
